Post subject:  New HDTV FE/BE system config - please review my choices

I've been running a single tuner PVR-350 on a P3-866 system as a test of KM for a few weeks. I'm ready to build an HDTV FE/BE system that can handle two (2) tuners. After reading this forum and searching many sites, here is what I am currently considering:

Case : Antec NSK-2400
CPU : Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (65W) Windsor 2.0 Ghz
MB : Asus M2NPV-VM
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320TGB
OR
EIDE drive of at least 300GB
Memory: 1GB (probably Corair - 2x512 MB)
Tuners : Air2PC Rev .02 or AirStar-HD5000

I plan on only recording OTA and might eventually make the new system a dedicated frontend.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your hardware looks very close to mine. I'm currently using an Air2PC card for OTA HD and it works very nice. With that said, it wasn't tier 1 for me. If you willing to get your hands a little dirty this MB seems to work well. There is also now a wiki page on this MB which should make it a little easier.

One last thought. The bigger HDD the better. 300GB goes real quickly with HD.
