This seems like a really stupid question, but I haven't been able to find anything yet on how to use my remote to type letters in mythfrontend. Specifically, I would really like to change the filename I'm saving when ripping a DVD. Using a keyboard is kind of difficult, because my computer is behind a wall from the monitor. I *could* rename the file later manually, but it would be so much easier to use the remote. Thanks! |

There is a pop up keyboard option. I think you may need to enable it down under Utlities/Setup -> Setup -> Appearance -> bottom of the 5th screen. Then you hit OK/Enter on your remote in any text entry field to pop it up. |

Thanks. I actually found the information an hour or so after I posted the question (oddly enough). It wasn't working to start out with, but after I found it, I went back and it worked fine. I found the info at http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythMusic Thanks again! |
