When setting up my pvr-250 in mythtv as a 250/350, mythtv locks up. If I set it up as a V4l, everything works fine. Shouldn't the card be set as a 250?

I have a Asus Mobo with nforce onboard GPU.

well yes it should be set for pvr250 and v4l shouldn't work. Which version of knoppmyth are you using? And you should not use the pvr350 playback or output acceleration whatever it's called, because th pvr250 does not have this.
