Hi,

I installed a dolby surround 5.1 system to my knoppmyth box. It works fine for video and dvd but after hearing some mp3 files the sound signal for video is scrambled. After reboot everything is ok again. I think the problem is, that MythMusic don't uses alsa. I had the same behaviour between DVD and MythVideo ( means avi, mpg etc. ) until I set the the "-ao alsa" option to mplayer. Where can I set this option for playback audio?

My guess would be somewhere under:
Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> Media Settings -> Music Settings

Possibly in additiion to something under:
Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> General

BTW - It actually uses the builtin player for music.
