OK, I just upgraded to R5E50, and everything's working fine with the exception of sound. I get no sound whatsoever despite fiddling with pretty much all the alsamixer settings and it appearing that all the proper audio devices exist and all the modules are loaded. I'm using a Chaintech AV-710 and currently trying to get analog output. I also tried the hint in the Upgrade hints and hazards thread, ran alsaconf and check that the audio device is indeed /dev/dsp, all to no avail.

Now, it would seem that that all the various channels being at zero would be my problem, but when I bring up alsamixer, I see that all are at 100 and unmuted. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?
