Hey guys, I am new to the board and I will let you know what I am using as mythbox Semperon 2600 Asus K9V Mobo - Socket 754 Nvidia Geforce MX 400 video card (AGP) Creative Soundblaster 16 Sound card (PCI) D-Link Wireless lan on G Wifi (PCI) Hauppage 150 capture card (PCI) 1 system HD with Fedora Core 5 running MythTV 1 capture HD which is 180GB storing all video I find that when I view the preview of the channel that the tuner card is watching (its almost small enough to look like a Picture in Picture window) the video is crystal clear. When I make the channel being watched full screen...it's a little fuzzy and not that clear. I have split the incoming coax cable with a 2Ghz splitter which is very good quality and the cables being used are pretty good. not sure but I know that my friend who helped me with this system, told me my video card doesnt work well with the NVidia driver version. I might need to upgrade my card but the captured video is still kinda fuzzy and not clean. any ideas?? Thanks |
