I'm trying to get the IR port to work with my Winfast DTV-1000 T. In order to get the IR port working I have to patch some of the modules in the kernel and recompile the kernel. After recompiling the kernel and rebooting I attempt to recompile the lirc-modules-source by running: Code: aptitude reinstall lirc-modules-source to get lirc-modules-source.tar.gz in /usr/src and then Code: dpkg-reconfigure lirc-modules-source (Which executes without any errors.) However if I modprobe the relevant modules I get the error Code: FATAL: Module lirc_i2c not found.
What do I need to do to successfully recompile the lirc modules with my custom kernel? Thanks, Daniel |
