Has anyone had success using the ATI Rage 128 cards with TV-out with the r128 driver? I have successfully gotten TV-out by using the vesa driver, but video playback is extremely choppy and I assume it's due to the vesa driver. (Specifically, my card shows up as ATI RAGE 128 RF/SG AGP) Using the ati or r128 driver in my xorg.conf seems to give the same output in the X log-- I assume they're the same drivers? I also don't see any errors there, just no TV output. Are there options for the r128 driver for specifying TV output? I couldn't find any. (The upside to the many hours of setting up a MythTV box is I finally feel somewhat comfortable around linux....) |
