I am building a second myth box using R5E50 and have it up and running with a new Leadtek Digital TV card. When I turn off my old myth box, I want to transfer the Twinhan DTV card from it to the new box, so the final system will have 2 tuners. My question is, will linux, and myth (R5E50) detect the new card, at least to the extent that I can go into mythtv-setup and create an entry for the card and assign it to a video source? Is that all I will have to do? |

Yes. Note that your card order may change based on which PCI slot they're plugged into. |

... and even better (as I accidentally found on the weekend) when it detects a new card (or an old card in a different PCI slot) KnoppMyth will automatically start the mythtv-setup script so that you can go in and edit channel listings etc. Daniel |
