Hi!

I'm not so good in Linux. I have tried a few times during this autumn to get my Knoppmyth to work with softcam, and I dont get it. Information is very hard to find, and I can understand why.

The reason I want to see encrypted channels, the free channels aren't so many here in Sweden.

Now I bought a Twinhan VP 3030 with built in CA, so I can have a few the day I want without lack slots in the computer.

But my Knoppmyth doesn't recognise the card, it probably is to new. I have seen a few comments on the net about some guys getting it to work in Linux, but I can't figure out how. for example this guy.

Anyone having any ideas how I should do?

/Erik

What version of Knoppmyth are you using?
R5E50 was released just after Christmas and has an updated kernel and DVB utilities, so might support your card.

Now I have tested, it doesn't work with latest version either. Bad buy I think, but I want to have that kind of card.

Built in CA, so I can take in also encrypted channels. Free channels are not so many in Sweden.

Any suggestions for cards supporting CA-modules, DVB-T and works in mythtv?
