Okay, probably a dumb question but I can't find any information anywhere.

I picked up an Asus 6200 card online with a few other things, as my old MX440 packed it in. The MX440 had S-video output, and the picture of this card also had S-video, so I figured all was well. Unfortunately, when I got it and looked at the card, it turns out to be composite.

Now, I'd rather not send the card back if I can get this to work. I've seen some VGA -> S-video cables online, and for the amount listing I figure it isn't that bad... and the DVI on this card would be useful if I do HD in the next little while. Does anyone know if this cable is going to work? I have this unexplainable loathing for the composite connector, but I'll use it if I have to for now ;)

Okay, I found a bit of info saying that likely won't work... I wonder if I can solder an S-video connector onto the board.

I have never used these...here are two vga to svid converters, it is not as simple as changing the physical connection, the signal is different and needs to be converted.

Well, perhaps I'll see about sending this board back afterall. I didn't want to go through the hassle, but I'd rather not settle with the composite output either.
