Starting my first Myth project and would like to get input from experienced builders about the new Intel Mini-ITX board.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121317

Good price but uses SiS chipset:

North Bridge SiS 662
South Bridge SiS 964L

Was this the chipset that had issues with video? - If so have they been resolved?

Has SiS onboard video chipset: SiS Mirage1 Graphics

Plan to use with Hauppauge WINTV-PVR-150

I'm a newbee to Myth and Mini-ITX so any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

This is beyond vague. What video problem are you referring to?

Sorry, I've not had a motherboard w/ an SiS chipset in a long time. If you have issues, I'd suggest following the recommendations in the link you posted. No matter your resolves, it would be nice if you posted in the hardware tier section. That is if you did get this combo.

Sorry Cecil, I was very tired when I put up the original post and not too clear.

I will work out any probs with the chipset which seem to be software issues - but wondering if this board can be used with regard to video out etc.
I was thinking of using a Creative external USB sound card as i have good experiences with those.

Could you take a quick look at the specs and tell me if this one has what it takes and if not - what is it missing?

Thanks for your help.

Again you are being vague. What specs? You mention video out and a sound card. Should I Google for the sound card and try and find the specs? In terms of the motherboard, the link seems to only state it offers VGA and SVideo. Seems to me, the only issues are possible compatibility issues w/ the PVR 150.
