Hello. I am looking to build myself a mythtv box with a Hauppauge PVR-150, and I need some help finding a good motherboard (or even a Shuttle). It is very important to me that the motherboard supports the MythTV's feature for scheduling automatic system startup and shutdown. Basically, I want to schedule a recording and leave the machine alone, letting it turn itself off and on for recordings as necessary. Of course, I would also like the motherboard to work for good recording video. Other than the automated startup/shutdown, I do not need anything special. Nice audio obviously, but nothing super expensive. No TV-out is needed. No remote is needed. I would like to find a mini-ATX board so I build a small system or a good Shuttle system. But I do not mind if the motherboard is full ATX. I would really appreciate any recommendations and advice from experienced users. |
