Hi, I have just bought a new SATA 500gb harddrive. I plugged it into my R5F1 system and powered it up. Obviously it didnt mount my new harddrive. Having a quick look on here and on the wiki there is some info about adding a new harddrive but it mainly seems to be about adding two harddrives from a new installation. Can anyone give me some pointers about how i would add a new harddrive to my system without having to reinstall knoppmyth. Also if it helps my current harddrive is an IDE one and when i run dmesg | grep "DISK drive" there is only one item listed Many thanks in advance. Rob |

Can you please search. Adding an additional hard drive has been discussed several times. |

My bad. I was searching for 'add harddrive' and it wasnt turning up much. Searching for 'add hard drive' has given me some promising leads. Cheers for the info. |
