I am trying to set up my directv h20 receiver to change channels, I have heard that you can take two usb to serial cables and put a null modem adapter 9 pin female to female in between them and it would work, anyone out there know if this would work? I have used google and searched forums, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking into doing the same thing. Apparently, the D11 and the H20 are similar in the serial interface. Trying Google with a search of "DirecTV D11 MythTV".
