Folks,

Has anyone else ordered or received a capture card from z-buy.com? I saw they had the "PVR-250MCE OEM Media Center edition" for $74 about three weeks ago. I placed an order and here's what's happened to me:

-Received a confirmation e-mail one day later.

-Received a second e-mail saying that the product was out of stock and asking me if they could send me the [incompatible] LeadTek WinFast PVR-2000 card instead. I said I'd wait for the 250s.

-Heard nothing...pestered the customer support and threatened to cancel my order.

-Two weeks later: received FedEX tracking number.

-This afternoon: Opened box, discovered I'd been had....card was the Conexant 8800 based "Roslyn" board, which does not have any linux drivers.

Hopefully, z-buy will explain to me why they have not delivered the product I thought I was paying for.

Moral of the story: be careful where you order you cards and beware extremely low prices!
