Hi,
I have R5A16 loaded on a Compaq DeskPro Intel 440BX 350mhz 64meg (stop laughing) and it has an isa ES1869 sound card. I manually run alsaconf and all is well, works fine, plays tunes, gives me the time (too slow for software recording playback) however in general, all else work well.

Problem I have is the sound module don't update correctly so after a reboot, I have to rerun alsaconf. to reload the sound drivers. How do I get them to load upon boot?
