I've been locking up constantly since putting my box together, during TV, Weather...whatever. I do a top and see myth running at 99.7% or so and not letting up. I read about the apic problem with these boards, but I think that apic has been disabled since r4v3. I'm currently running r4v4.1. Do I still have to disable apic somehow? Is the 99% usage indicative of this problem or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I'm running with an a7n8x-vm (nforce2 chipset), pvr250 MCE.

well I don't really have any help for you, but those are not the signs of the APIC issue, and APIC is turned off in all R4V4 versions. It sounds more like the nvnet problem, but R4V4 is supposed to be using forcedeth, so that shouldn't be it either.
