well let's see couple of gottcha's with the p3450 you will have to use the pvr350 tvout if you want decent playback, however that means more config, and some things like divx/xvid still have mucho prolems.

second with the external ata card you will not be able to do an autoinstall.

the pvr350 remote won't control the cable box you will have to use either serial or irblaster for that. not sure if that cable box has working serial or not.

not sure about the programing, but seems like someone posted about something that sounded similar to that recently.

other than that you are probably pretty good.
