I have look around and it seems that the AV-710 Sound Card
has been discontinued. Does anyone know of a good replacement
with optical out.? Also that is easy to setup digital pass thru
working.

You could try Ebay for a used one

or if you wanted a different card Turtle Bearch Riviera also
seems to be pretty good for a new one
