I tried installing Knoopmyth. I tinstalled fine as far as the standard installation, but then I tried to use a normal remote control (universal one) that was not listed in the list, and ran into lirc... read about it but turned it down. Seems to big a job for me.
Anyway, had a look at Elisa and it seems pretty good. Do you have any other suggestions? I would appreciate if you could point me to other systems.
In the mean time I have got hold of an NMT and should be ok with it, but I am always on the lookout for something new, just in case
