Post subject:  Prof Tuners DVB-S

Anyone have some good or bad experience info to share with regards to the Prof Red Series 6200 or 7300 DVB-S & S2 pci cards in a KnoppMyth setup? The info I read on the manufacturers website says these cards have support for Linux OS'es but I can't seem to find any end user reviews. I would like to purchase and use the 6200 DVB-S card in a KnoppMyth HTPC setup along with an SB Live Value and an ATI HDTV Wonder.

Here's some links to the manufacturer's pages for each one...

If they don't work out the box, should be a simple matter of upgrading V4L-DVB from Mercurial (plus any needed firmware).

Thanks for the input Cecil...

I'm thinking I'll order one of the 6200's directly from Prof Tuners as soon as the holiday festivities are over in China. I could buy a Geniatech\Digiwave 103g or a Hauppauge Nova S Plus locally today but a friend of mine had little success with a 103g in a Linux box and the Nova S Plus is double the cost of a 103g or the Prof 6200. I've tried to figure out why the Nova S Plus costs so much more but I can't seem to figure that one out
