Post subject: | still no help |
I think I figured out the kernel source was /boot/vmlinuzXXX however when I tried to make clean, make zd1211rev_b=1, and make zd1211_revb=1 install. I had 2 error messages. then I tried to follow there steps however when I rebooted i had DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 interval 8 kept spooling then went on. I'm just asking for a little help as I think this is all I need to get this box up and running. It would be a lot easier to have wireless already configured at install as zd1211 is in the 2.6 kernel. I know this isn't included however, eveyone uses wireless anymore? Maybe another gui that lets you set up before dhcp install. Just a thought. Thanks for any help PLEASE. |

![]() Warning: error inserting ieee80211_crypt_rt1 (/lib/modules/2.63/blah) Operation not peritted. Warning: error inserting ieee80211_rt1 (/lib/same as above) Operation not permited. dmesg: registered zd1211rw to usbcore irq11 so what are the steps to set this up with wep or wpa @ boot? If I get this I should be ready to record some tv. I did wonder on the manual partition table I was not able to set a boot label as in / or /var/lib. I have a 10G on front for root and the 200G for library, I guess /var/lib/myth. Thanks for your explanation and help, have been @ this over a week trying to figure out my nvidia 5200 tv out and wireless. ![]() |

how do I paste my files from knoppMyth on this forum as no web browser present? I would paste my files if that would help me get some information/ knowledge to fix this problem. I see nothing to cut and paste into this forum in KnoppMyth. Whatever I need to do to help you. I do see error messages in dmesg I'll type and KVM back and forth. ieee80211_crypt_rt1: exports duplicate symbol ieee8021_get_crypto_ops (owned by ieee80211_crypt) ieee80211_rt1: exports duplicate symbol ieee80211_rx_mgt (owned by ieee80211) zd1211rw 1-2.1.1: error ioread32 (CR_REG1) : -11 modprobe same errors as posted above. |
