Hello I'm expanding my diskless setup to include a new frontend in my kitchen. I decided to try out the Snapstream Firefly Remote control and it arrived today. I have never used Lirc before, just a a wireless keyboard that plugs into the comm port on my living room frontend I researched ///usr/share/doc/lirc/remotes in firefox, but I don't see the snapstream firefly remote listed. I read on the mythtv site and it points to the ati driver http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Snapstream_Firefly Effective Kernel 2.6.27 and higher - Themodule lirc_atiusb has been deprecated. You must use the userspace driver atilibusb instead. Code: uname -r returns 2.6.23-chr-4 revision

I don't have a tuner. Could someone point me in the right direction to adding the remote to a working R5.5 diskless install, what's currently required? Thanks |
