I've noticed that my streamzap remote's commands does not work very well if the streamzap receiver isn't pointed directly at me. When on a slight angle the receiver blinks (i.e. it *is* receiving the signal) but the command is ignored 30% to 60% of the time.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Thanks, -Abs

FWIW, yes, I've seen this too. It is annoying, but I've learned to live with it. I just adjust my arm position and try again. :?

You could try disasembling the reciever so that the plastic isn't covering the reciever.

I have found out that the receiver works better when you have it pointed down towards the ground. I had to do that with my HDTV setup since the can lights in my ceiling were interfering.

I have a second Streamzap remote for another slave machine and I tried the same thing. It definitely works better now and I can usedifferent angles around the room.
