Post subject:  Best ATSC OTA tuner card?

I'm going to pick up a new tuner card as my HVR-1600 cant pick up much OTA. My TV, DVD recorder, and CECB all show around 80% signal strength. I got my 1600 when they first came out and never could pick up OTA ATSC decently so had just been using it in NTSC mode.

I upgraded the antenna last summer when the FCC reduced broadcast power in this area, went from 70's to 60's %, which got me into solid 80's%. so I tried the 1600 on OTA ATSC again and still got nothing you could enjoyably watch :(

I'm looking at the dual tuner HD homerun but that means rewiring the antenna and the network. An internal tuner would be easier for me.

IF you can find still them....

The Pinnacle 800i is a great PCI (not PCI express) tuner card. I'm using two of them at the moment along with two old Air2PC ATSC cards. The 800i's capture much better with a weaker signal.

Search eBay...That's where I got mine.
