Thanks to a dying office machine my Mythbox has now got some extra RAM - 3Gb up from the previous 1Gb. Are there any system settings that I need change to take best advantage of the new RAM? Thanks! Scotty. |

Not really.... The extra memory will be beneficial for transcodes, and buffer for streaming. If you're running Folding@Home... use the extra memory for larger WU's. |
