Post subject:  ASRock, Sound and PVR 350
Hi there.
I'm going to build my own HTPC but still have a few questions:

Did anyone use the ASRock P4I45D? There's a 5.1 soundchip on Board but neither with "SuSE 8.2 pro" nor "RedHat 9" I'll get an output :( So I think that there's also no reason to use KnoppMyth and "forget" to buy an extra sound-card?!

Will the Hauppauge Win TV PVR350 work fine with KnoppMyth?
I just want to change my stereo / video / dvd / cd etc. against a HTPC. So I want to take this card because the TV- and Radio-Receiver.

And general: I only want to use my TV for any output. Are there special settings for menu-items and fonts?

You can try looking here http://pvrhw.goldfish.org/ to see if anyone is using the P4I4D. Once R4 is release you should have no problems w/ the PVR-x50(knock on wood)! :wink: No special font requirements needed!

Thanks a million for reply. It seems that I'm the one and only using this board... I think I'll start building my box during next week.
I'll post first results in here (but also first trouble :lol: )
