I am getting together some parts for my first MythTV machine and I just want to make sure I have the right hardware before I dive into this. First off I have a AN35N Shuttle motherboard with an Athlon 2500. It has the onboard Realtek ALC650 for audio, will this work okay? I have a SB Live I can throw in there if I need to. Also I have a PVR-350 coming and I should be able to use the TV out on this right? I won't need a video card with TV out correct, everything should be able to go through the PVR-350 TV out? |

Check the ALSA website to see if that chipset is supported. You should be able to get TV out work. It however won't initilize until X starts(as far as I'm aware...) So you'll still need a video card until you get TV out on the 350 work. |
