Hello, what does everyone think about having a 266mhz frontend that would be used with the onboard vga card with audio and remote. ideas? its a laptop i have sitting at home that i wonder if i could get to work. |

If you boot the laptop from the KnoppMyth CD and use the Frontend option you could find out very quickly if it would work as a remote frontend. |

rkremser, I am not sure if you are from hesmana or hasmata, but did you try it? What happened? Yes I know its an expression.........

My guess at your chances of making this work involves boars and sows growing wings and becoming airborne. But given the ability to run the frontend right from the CD what have you got ot lose by trying except a little time?

ok, don't have the computer with me right now so I didn't have a chance to try it. THanks for the input though once i get it i'll post back. Prob around end of nov. |
