now that I have Mythtv up and running, i was toying with the idea of putting it into a box suitable for my living room. I have found no mention of this case I saw on newegg... what do you think of this one?

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 003&depa=1

I was also looking for motherboard recommendations, microatx, but i don't need onboard video. I wanted to go AMD due to price....

any ideas?

Thanks!!!!!

The case looks nice enough. If you browse the forum, you find enough recommendations.

that case looks ok, the only concern would be if you start cramming stuff in there I don't know if the 200w power supply would hold up.

also if you are using external video and are using microatx then you will be limited to two pci cards, which will be something to concider. I know I am running out of slots in my microatx board, and I use onboard video.

One of the reviews mentioned loud fans. A piece of HW that is silent in the store can be unacceptably loud in your living room...
