Actually I believe the Xbox has a PIII at 733mhz, not a celeron.
But you're right, no way in heck it's going to stream all that data smoothly.

If I get the pcHDTV HD-3000 to record HD content and the Xbox displays 1080i / 720p with the HD adapter, will the Xbox be able to stream the HD content as a frontend? |

not likely, as the xbox only has a 700Mhz celery proc and hdtv takes at least a 1G proc to play hdtv even with xvmc, which most people are saying doesn't work just yet. If not using xvmc it takes a 3+ G proc . |

I know, I'm nit-picking...actually it is sort of in-between a PIII and a Celeron...it only has 128kB L2 cache like a Celeron, but it is more ways associative than a Celeron and supports some of the other PIII features...see http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.aspx?i=1561&p=2 -Mike |
