| Post subject: | Sound Blaster Live stopped working... |
Yesterday I tried the media player music function for the first time. I put a test MP3 in the /myth/music directory. And it played fine using the line out on my Sound Blaster. Then I uploaded some more MP3's and now when I play MP3's no sound comes out through the Sound Blaster. I didn't change or edit the configuration between tests. The machine did record a show... I've tried re-booting a couple of times but no luck the sound doesn't work. Any ideas? |

I don't have a soundblaster as I am using the nforce2 chipset for audio on my Myth box... However, have you tried running aumix ? Run aumix from the command line and see if that restores your audio out. Also I had to change my audio controls in Myth from "PCM" to "Master". This allows the volume controls on the PVR IR-remote to control all audio channels within Myth as your are controlling the Master Volume out.

I have the new grey remote that doesn't work. Still trying to figure it out. |
