I take it no one has this model? Can anyone suggest directv RCA models that do work with mythtv? I'm hoping I can find them maybe on ebay. Also, whats the performance of the low speed data cable with directv. Is there a significant delay from the time you press a channel on the remote and the time it takes to tell the RCA tunner to change channels?? Thanks again. |

I'd suggest searching if not posting to the MythTV mailinglist. |

I've got two DRD440RE hooked into my pvr-250's and control them with low speed serial. I think speed if the channel change is instant, but it takes a while for Myth to gyrate. A couple of seconds I guess, I don't pay much attention, as I mostly watch recorded content. |
