Has anyone tried the Xine IVTV Plugin for the PVR350 tv output? Its supposed to accelerate DVD playback. It can be found here: http://home.comcast.net/~nufan_wfk/ivtv ... a.patch.gz It wont compile on my machine... Being a Hardware techie, I can make, and make install, but if it doesn't work then I stuck! Chris |

i have. it compiled and ran fine for me, but it did not run very well, it was better than straight through the frame buffer, but still wasn't watchable. it's got a ways to go yet. |

Anyone have a solution to accelerate DVD playback ? when I play dvd with xine i get messages about loss of frames. I use a pvr350 with tv-out. My DMA is enabled. I use R5A16 and my command line is : xine -pfhq --auto-scan dvd |

Anyone got a solution yet? I managed to patch the mplayer to get some sort of acceleration. However, I rather use Xine for the DVD menus. Here is the link to the old mplayer patch I used: http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-user ... 24448.html Björn |
