| Post subject: | Support for Hauppauge pvr-500 |
The last week i can saw that ivtv driver has support for hauppaguge pvr-500. I´ve got a mythtv mahine with pvr-350 and this is nice and now I want to make a new mythtv machine for a friend and i want know if there is same person that have probed the pvr-500 with mythtv and their results. Thanks |

You're probably out of luck for the moment. The support for the PVR-500 is still preliminary and alpha. Cecil has stated that he won't ship an unreleased version as the defualt driver and the IVTV folks are REALLY, REALLY bad about making releases. Quite frankly I think the PVR-500 is still out over the bleeding edge and dangling down into the abyss of unsupported hardware. |

Whoops, sorry, run on sentence disease blurred the intent. No unreleased - you IVTV bad at releasing - IMO |
