I have two tuners currently in my masterbackend/frontend. An ATI TV Wonder VE (uses bttv) and a PVR-350 (uses ivtv). I originally had ONLY the pvr-350 in and it was running great, then I just updated the drivers and it was great. So then I decided to add my TV Wonder VE and it didn't quite go as well as I hoped... the card installed fine and I went through the mythtv-setup and did all that correctly... so I have both cards in and partially working... the pvr-350 still works exaclty as it should, but the TV Wonder VE's video is very washed out and I know exaclty why. I need to set the tuner type=2 it defaults to 19:
Code:
root@mythtv:~ # dmesg | grep tuner
bttv0: using tuner=19
...

/etc/modules.conf:
Code:
### update-modules: start processing /etc/modutils/KnoppMyth
include /etc/mythtv/modules/bttv0
include /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv
include /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv1

### update-modules: end processing /etc/modutils/KnoppMyth

so I tried to edit bttv0 so that it said this:
Code:
alias char-major-81-0   bttv
options bttv card=64,-1
options tuner type=2,44

because the TV Wonder VE is /dev/video and the ivtv card is /dev/video1. This did not work... it only changed the tuner type for the pvr-350

so what do I need to edit to change the tuner type for my bttv card??
