1st:) Great work you've done here - Remote Control works out of the box and the installation is quite smooth - how to get an usual dvd running is a nice camouflage story here in the "pineapple" forum *g*
but: i do not get the damned tuner of my yesterday bought pvr-250 Model 981 - to run. xawtv shoes to me default-input composite 0 - and if i switch to tuner, i do not get anything. what's interested, the /var/kern.log says to me it is an NTSC Phillips tuner (type=2), but under winxp i got in my PAL-Country (germany) a clear picture. anyway ... the damned tuner will not show me any picture. please, i will not change it to mediaportal
is there any kind of scanning mechanism to get this done ... or better ... has anyone an idea how to get model 981 working? should i install the new alpha version of knoppymyth?
