Both WinTV2000 and KnoppMyth work fine with my Hauppauge PVR-350 on my machine with a Soyo KT600 Dragon Plus motherboard and an Athlon XP 2800+, but I'm having problems using my Gigabyte 8I845GVM-RZ with a Celeron 2.8GHz.

In KnoppMyth, all I get for a picture is snow. In WinTV-2000, the auto-scanner is able to find all of my channels correctly and I am able to take snapshots (although they're terrible quality), but I can't see any streaming video. I didn't see any options in BIOS that would cause this, so I'm kinda stuck. I'll try a BIOS update, but I'm pretty sure I already have the most recent BIOS revision. Since WinTV2000 isn't working, I can call Hauppauge tech support, but I wanted to see what you guys think first.
[EDIT]
The Gigabyte 8I845GVM-RZ uses the Intel i845 chipset

UPDATE:
I updated the BIOS and all my drivers in WinXP and now I can watch TV using WinTV2000. So, I have to conclude that the problem must lie somewhere in the drivers in KnoppMyth. I'm gonna do a little research on Linux driver issues concerning my mobo/chipset and maybe post in the Installation forum if I can't figure something out. Since this is not a hardware problem, though, the mods can feel free to close/delete this thread.
[/EDIT]
