Well, I met my true love today-KnoppMyth R5A22 with auto install. It sure
beats the pants off any of the 6 or 7 manual installs I did in the past.
Unfortunately, the IDE drive on which I installed it up and died just a few
hours after installation.

So, my questions are:

1. Does R5A22 yet support auto install on SATA drives, or is that not
yet available? I'd love to be able to do another auto install on one of my
SATA drives.

2. If it does not support Auto installs on SATA yet, what is the main
difference, other than manually partitioning the drive? What other things
does an auto install do? Does a manual install require you to compile and
install many of the modules, for example, ivtv?

Thanks again Cecil, Dale, and everyone else who has made this a literally
amazing piece of work.

When auto install works on SATA, the changelog will state as such. Other than the manually partitioning the drive, there is no difference between auto and manual install. I know some folks have issues w/ SATA. If I knew the source of the problem(s), it would be fixed. My MBE runs on SATA and I have no issues installing/upgrading. My MBE is in no way tweaked from what everyone uses.

Thanks, that's great news, from what I have seen so far of R5A22.

Nice work Cesman.
