Just purchased a computer surround Sound speaker set. Have a working R4V5 setup. Motherboard supports 6 channel audio with alsamixer reporting : Card: Intel ICH5 │ │ Chip: Avance Logic id 80 When I add the "-channels 6" switch to mplayer to play DVD's (with 5.1 sound) I get left & right front output (without dialogue) but no middle & rear. Without the -channels switch I get normal stereo with sub woofer. Have searched for similar issue with no luck. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks |
