Alright I've searched the forum and read this and alarson's post. I ran the script and i'm getting the horizontal purple and green lines. I can't press CTRL+ALT+F1-F5 it does nothing.

On my monitor i see a bunch of stuff about ivtv screen coods and original global alpha but on my tv i see the lines. I REALLY don't want to start over with all this stuff and was hoping to get it working tonight. Is there a way to fix things after the script has installed? I'm basically a newb so easy instructions are good:)

Did you get this taken care of? I have the same problem.

I also can't get XServer running (and thus, no Myth frontend either) because I get an error "no screens found"

If you fixed this problem, what did you do to get it working?
