Noisy video card?

Post subject:  Noisy video card?
This sounds really wierd. WHen I plug the video card into the TV, a low buzz comes out of the speakers. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Could be a driver issue or...it could be a ground loop. Are the mythbox and the TV plugged into the same power outlet? If so, you may be able to play with the grounding configuration and or trying a different power outlet.

I also had a problem were I was getting a slight A/C tickle when I was touching the *CABLE* line, and had to use a different outlet that was properly grounded.

If it's a driver issue, that may be more complicated. :)

Hmmm.....they are plugged into the same outlet. There are lots of things plugged into it, but no humm from any of them. The fideo card is slightly touching the inside of the casis in the box though....would that affect it?
