Hi,

I need help. The eeprom of my card have been deleted, I need the original contents to restore it. All I need you to do (if you have a Twinhan VisionPlus DTV Sat (1020A or 1022A) is download this very little program http://users.panafonet.gr/scratched/e2prom.zip extract the zip file and run the e2prom (without parameters) from a MS-DOS prompt (inside the Windows) and then send me an image of what's the result to my email address: klm663_2@hotmail.com or on this board. Thanks in advance. I've asked it to Twinhan support but they don't reply me.

It's the second card I broke. The card was working ok in Windows but when I boot (with the USB remote pluged in) from KnoopMythTV R5A12 CD (to install MythTV), the system hangs in autodetecting hardware. After that, Windows didn't recognize the card and I observed that the eeprom of the card was deleted (and then subsystem_id was changed). I've able to restore the subsystem_id but but the eeprom contanins more vital data that I didn't know. The first time I send the card to the technical support but I was to wait for a month, and I think is better to try to repair by myself because I think this can happen some more times.
I saw a similar problem in this threads:

It seems to work now. This is the dump (probably not the original):

Bt8x8 EEPROM Dumper/Writer.
(C) 2003 Illusion & Hope. Use "-?" to get some additional help

Had the same problem maybe also plugging in the usb remote receiver had something to do with it. Thanks to your valueable hint with the "last" four bytes ("subid") my card works again.

Thanks a lot!

For people who have a similar problem with the Twinhan VP-1030 they may want to try my eeprom content:
