I have been searching on how to get my remote working for a while now, but I haven't been able to get it working. Is there a howto for this remote for version R5A15.1 my tv card is working fine, all i just need to get the remote working dmesg shows lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, at major 61 lirc_i2c: chip found @ 0x18 (Hauppauge IR) lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin:sample_rate: 10 this is good right? 
any help would be greatly appreciated |

Did you start lirc? Code: /etc/init.d/lircd start Then run irw. Press a few buttons and see if you're picking up the signals from the remote. [b]irw[\b] should dump a line or two to the screen for every button you press. If that works, then you should probably register the lircd daemon. Code: update-rc.d lircd defaults
Then restart mythfrontend and see if it works. If not, you may need to get a proper lircd.conf and lircrc file for use with mythtv... I have a PVR 350, and the grey remote was set to work "out of the box" as it were with Knoppmyth. Hope this helps. |
