Hi there, been playing with MythTV and knoppmyth for a bit now ... got the capture/recording working fine using 2 WinTV pci cards. The only problem I have now is that the audio on live tv is "echoing" when I actively watch it ... if it is minimized or otherwise not with video on screen, the audio is fine.

I saw a mention of the echo issue before in my searches but I didn't see a solution posted for it.

I'm doing the standard cross over audio cable from the audio out on the capture card to the line in on the Nvidia onboard sound on the NF7-S motherboard I'm using.

thanks in advance :)

I think you need to mute something... Searching the forum for "mixer" and "mute" should turn up the relevant details. Most people who have this problem are actually hearing two "inputs" being fed through to the output
- the actual input as it's is being recorded
- the delayed playback from the generator
