I loaded KnoppMyth R5A16 and now R5A15.1 with my Win Tv PVR 250 card is which is autodetected but I get a Bus Mastering is not enabled in the IVTV section.
IVTV section says it found an ITVC 16 based chip. ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0e.0 [A]-> GSI 11 (level, low)-> IRQ 11
IVTV: Bus Mastering is not enabled
IVTV: Error -6 on initialization
IVTV-ITVC 15_16mp2_encoder card: probe of 0000:00:0e.0 failed with error -6

What can I do to enable the Bus Mastering?

A search of "Bus Mastering is not enabled" with 'Search for all Terms" yields 6 threads....most intresting is one with 'FIXED" appended to the title.

I got only 5 threads not including my own. Only one of the 5 has a possible solution:
rmmod ivtv
setpci -s 00:09 4 w=116
modprobe ivtv
and that did not work. That solution was at the end of the link that was sent to me.
Is there anything else I should try?

I'd suggest a
Code:
man setpci
My guess is that 00:09 has to do with the PCI slot the card is in... Perhaps checking your BIOS to see if busmastering is disabled...
