After upgrading r5a12 to r5a16, my pvr 250 wouldn't work, giving messages about /dev/video0: no such device. lsmod revealed that ivtv wasn't even loaded. dmesg revealed complaints about debug option to ivtv and type option to tuner module. I commented out these two options lines in /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv and modprobe ivtv worked fine.

Anybody know what's going on here??

sigh...things aren't going well with r5a16 so far... :cry:

I swear a search for ivtv options didn't turn this up...anyway maybe I'll give r5a16 another try this weekend
