Hi Guys, I'm sorry if this is covered already, but I've searched and can't find any info on this realease and my remote.

I have a fresh install of R5A16 running fine but my PVR 250 remote is not responding. Am I supposed to copy a lircd.conf file?

When I run ps I do see a lirc process running.

Also is there a KnoppMyth wiki anywhere?

Thanks
Robin

if you haven't found anything about newer pvr250's and remote problems or the wiki you haven't looked at all. search for "silver" remote, and the wiki is at ,get ready for it, knoppmythwiki.org (though it's still read only at the moment do to wiki spam should be sorted out before too long)

I have the older PVR 250 remote.
I think the post you are talking about is for the newer PRV 250 remote, and the instructions there are for 5R15....

Do I follow the same instructions for R16?

the instructions for R5A15 should work for R5A16 however if you have the older remote you should not have to do anything at all. If anything you may need to run update-rc.d lirc defaults

Running "run update-rc.d lirc defaults" fixed my problem.
Thanks
