EDIT: D'OH! It is resolved.
Apparently, the machine just needed a reboot, as far as I can tell.

Myth seems to work EXCEPT: There is no background KnoppMyth wallpaper. I assume this is normal?

Hi all:

Well, I'm back once again for help. I bit the bullet, and prayed, and installed the nvidia 6629 driver that came with R5A12. The text said it was checking the kernel sources, compiling, and then installing the driver.

It did not reboot. (Was it supposed to?) When I try to run X, I can get to the X Desktop. However, when I try to run Myth, I get:

I did some searching, and found others with somewhat similar problems, but in general they could NOT get to an X Desktop. I CAN. Does this mean I just need to update some libraries or...?

Thanks for any help. I'm anxious to get Myth back up again.
